Fabian Dechent is an Equity Partner at MKM + PARTNER. He advises clients in the areas of intellectual property and data protection law. In the field of intellectual property, his practice focuses in particular on developing strategies to protect intellectual property rights and enforcing those rights. In the area of data protection, Mr. Dechent advises clients in an international context on complex data transfers and projects.

Fabian Dechent successfully completed his German state examinations at the University of Erlangen and the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg. He subsequently worked in the legal department of one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. Fabian Dechent has been with MKM + PARTNER since 2016.

Fabian Dechent is a certified data protection consultant (TÜV Rheinland). In 2019, Fabian Dechent successfully completed the written examinations for the specialist lawyer qualification in intellectual property law ("Fachanwalt für Gewerblichen Rechtsschutz").
