Thilo Märtin is a lawyer and founding partner of MKM + PARTNER. His practice focuses on data law, IT law and product compliance. He advises national and international clients with a pragmatic and risk-based approach. His key industry sectors include manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, software development and mechanical engineering.
Thilo Märtin studied law at the Universities of Erlangen and Münster and successfully completed both German state examinations in Bavaria, the first with distinction. He is also an author and works with Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs), DATEV and the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (Zentralverband des Deutschen Handwerks) as part of workshops and seminars on matters relating to competition law, copyright law and data protection law. He is a member of the Data Protection Committee of the German Association for Law and Informatics (DGRI).
